Leonardo was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a hobby painter and an advertising executive. At the age of 8 he took an interest in Vincent Van Gogh’s the starry night. This was the origin of a lifelong passion that helped him develop his complex art form. Since all of leonardo’s spare time was dedicated to painting, it was only natural that he pursued a career allowing him to further his creative aptitude. His study of graphic design, advertising, and sociology has transformed into 24 years as an art director for well-known companies, then eventually his own. He has held clientele in Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, and the us, gaining him international accolades such as the el ojo de iberoamérica, mcdonald’s worldwide marketing, new york festival, fiap, clio, and more. Merging the two worlds of self-taught expressionism and graphic design, Leonardo communicates his vision in both canvas and advertisment through evocative colors and precise images. His craft ellicits audience members’ sense of joy, love, beauty, and well-being to ultimately awaken something much more than the traditional in them—their previously unstirred emotions. Deimar Patiño was raised in Caracas, Venezuela and went on to completed his masters degree in visual art in milan, thus the path of his design aesthetic has been inspired by both the traditions of latin american and european art. After completing his education, Diemar developed projects internationally in Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, the united states, and Latin America, and worked in renowned advertising agencies such as ogilvy and J. Walter Thompson. These foundations served as his platform to later build and direct his own company, alta. His projects have won varioust prizes at the ibero-american level in advertising competitions. In 2016 diemar moved to the United States to join the top firm bush renz which has represented clients such as icelandic glacial water, jay z, and art for amnesty of amnesty international, supporting human rights via the arts. Diemar now resides in Los Angeles, where he is a partner and creative director for naked eye.
Vanessa Whaite is a business leader with 10 years experience in production, marketing, advertising, and digital and traditional content for general, Us Hispanic, Caribbean, and Latin-American markets. Having worked for fortune 100 companies, she’s developed a savvy for digital and offline landscapes, including social platforms and their data, advertising formats and attribution models, content strategy and distribution, communications planning, digital product development, experiential advertising, and audiovisual production. Vanessa is our problem solver, always bringing creative solutions to transform relationships into an integrated system that goes beyond one specific client, brand, or customer.
Ernesto Sanchez has 20 years in the advertising and entertainment industries as a creative director in the general, us hispanic, and Latin American markets. He became intrigued by how cutting-edge technologies can be utilized to communicate a client’s concept through stimulating the complete senses of a targuet audience. To materialize his vision, he merged his previous experience as a creative director with his knoledge in graphic design and multimedia art production by founding wujuu media in 2013. Ernesto has since landed national and international accounts with companies such as 3m, citi bank, ducati, emerge of americas, as well as with non-profit organizations. Now as partner in naked eye, he is elated to be designing advertising campaings and experiences that connect brands and customers via dynamic storytelling. He is based in Los Angeles.
